New inclusive sports club to launch

An inclusive sports club for adults with disabilities is launching at GL1, Gloucester at the start of November.

The inclusive Multi Sports Club is kicking off from 11am on 3rd November. Every week, it will offer a variety of accessible sports, including powerchair games, boccia, new age bowls, curling, goalball and table sports.

The club has been set up to reduce social isolation and provide an activities club for adults with learning and physical disabilities, or those who have mental health concerns. It will engage participants physically and socially and connecting them to others in the community who may face similar challenges or experiences.

The club is being delivered by Goals Beyond Grass and is supported by Rooftop Housing.

Sessions are free to participants, carers are welcome and can join in and all up-to-date government Covid guidelines will be in place.
