Customers in for a treat as new café opens

Big names at Gloucester Quays have turned it into a major food and shopping attraction - and the latest independent joining into the mix is due to open today.
If you have a sweet tooth My Treats on the corner of Llanthony Road and Southgate Street, one of the main entrances to the Quays, could be for you.
And if you are looking for a job, it cold also be worth a visit as the business is still recruiting.
Richard Graham, MP for Gloucester, and city council leader Paul James are due to lend their support to the new business today (June 16) when they help the owner officially open the venture.
Rizwan Shoukat, a Gloucester resident who formerly ran the Grill House in Barton Street, is a director of My Treats and one of the partners in the business.
"We are due to open today at 5pm. We are then fully booked for three days - mainly with family, friend and guests, and open to the public from 11am on Tuesday," said Mr Shoukat.
"We also plan to open another My Treats in Bristol. We will be selling milk shakes, ice cream, cakes, coffees, smoothies, smoothies pastries - and more."
If the recent additions to the city are anything to go by - Kaspers on Station Road near the new bus station, Shakes 2GO on Westgate Street, and Yanto's Pancake House in The Oxebode - 'sweet' is where it is at.
My Treats will be able to seat 100 and also boast a soft play area. It will be open from 11am to 11pm seven days a week.
My Treats marks another change for the building which has in the past been a pet shop, a Panasonic stereo shop, motor show room and even had a planning application submitted for a micro-pub.
