New director appointed at Two Rivers Housing

An industry expert with a decade of experience has joined Two Rivers Housing as their new director of resources.

Carol Dover joins Two Rivers, a not-for-profit community organisation that provides affordable homes, at a positive time as it invests in a development programme.

Previously head of finance with the Connexus Housing Group in Herefordshire, Dover has also worked in commercial finance roles for Wyevale Garden Centre Group and Bulmers Cider.

She also has experience in the manufacturing sector having spent time with Kraft Jacobs Suchard and Rexam Packaging.

Dover takes over the reins from Barry Thompson, who has been in charge of finance at Two Rivers for 14 years.

He has spent 28 years working in the housing sector and is now looking forward to retirement and the chance to travel and improve his golf handicap.

Two Rivers is currently investing heavily in its development programme with 1,000 new affordable homes to be built in Gloucestershire over the next decade.

The company was awarded top makes in last year's Govermnent In Depth Assessments with a G1/V1 rating.

They are currently investing more than £30 million in 300 homes across 12 schemes in Gloucestershire.

The housing association has three profit-for-purpose strands to its business. Centigen Facilities Management, TwoCan estate agency and Tandem Living homes for open market sale.
