New festival racegoers’ accommodation plans unveiled

A Gloucestershire-based serviced accommodation provider has unveiled unique accommodation plans for the Cheltenham Festival.

StayLets has teamed up with Cube Modular Ltd and Cheltenham Tigers RFC to provide an accommodation village for the festival, taking place in March 2023.

Situated less than a 15-minute walk away from the main entrance to Cheltenham Racecourse, the temporary pop-up village will provide accommodation for up to 250 racegoers on Cheltenham Tigers' Newlands Park complex.

It will offer two distinctly different accommodation alternatives.

The StayLets Village is made up of newly designed and fitted units, incredibly low in carbon footprint, insulated, powered and secure, available in twin or quad configurations, with shared communal luxury bathroom and shower amenities.

This is the glamping equivalent, in the beautiful countryside under the shadow of Cleeve Hill, with onsite parking available, and the full hospitality and food and drink options from the Tigers' clubhouse and catering team.

Caboose Town offers something a little bit different - pop-up boutique VIP hotel rooms with individual terraces and ensuite bathrooms. This is next level accommodation designed for comfort and delivered in style.

The accommodation must be booked for four nights, with prices ranging from £190 to £400 per night, per unit. Bookings for these are now open and can be booked online at www.staylets.co.uk.

Oliver Williams, managing director of StayLets, part of The Markey Group, said: "We are excited to be working with Cube Modular and Cheltenham Tigers on this exciting collaboration and delivering a new and alternative place for racegoers to stay.

"Anyone who has been to Cheltenham before, will know that accommodation can be very hard to come by, with racegoers often having to stay as much as an hour's drive away. This is probably the closest accommodation you can get, short of sleeping in a stable!"

The accommodation will come equipped with bedding and both parking and breakfast will be bookable in advance.
