New Associate at Bruton Knowles

Harry Breakwell has been made an Associate in Bruton Knowles' fast-growing Land Development team.

The team advises landowner clients on commercial and residential development opportunities and has been growing in response to a steep increase in activity across the sector.

Bruton Knowles partner and head of Land Development Scott Winnard said the team plays a vital role spearheading development opportunities across the region.

He said: "Harry Breakwell has been an integral part of the team since he joined us in 2014 and we are pleased his contribution has been recognised with his promotion to Associate."

Harry's role covers appraisal, disposal and acquisition of residential and mixed used development land, strategic land as well as conversion opportunities.

He also undertakes valuations for the purposes of secured lending, viability assessments, restrictive covenants, access ransom, uplift negotiations, exercise of option agreements, internal accounting and in preparation for disposal/acquisition.

Harry has widespread experience working across the sector with private landowner clients, Local Authorities (e.g. Herefordshire Council, Gloucestershire County Council etc.), developers (from national 'plc' housebuilders to local developers), land promotion companies and charities.

He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Harry said: "I am thrilled my work in Land Development has been recognised. We work closely with landowners and developers to identify schemes. A good working knowledge of development sites is essential if the client is to be properly represented.
