New 128 home estate between Gloucester and Stroud gets sign off

The next phase of the Hunts Grove housing estate was granted planning permission by Stroud District Council.

Part of a wider product to bring 1,750 new-build homes to the area, this phase of construction will see 128 houses built off Haresfield Lane, off the A38, in an area known as Farmhouse Triangle.

At a planning meeting on October 13, Stroud District Council's development control committee approved the reserved matters application for the project.

The development consists of range of detached, semi-detached, terraced and mews houses, of between two and four bedrooms in size.

Documents from the meeting read: "On balance, these applications seek to make a step change in the design quality of Hunts Grove whilst also providing a wide mix of house types to cater for single people/couples, small families through to larger house types for larger families."
