Nearly 400 job losses at White Stuff

Fashion retailer White Stuff has made 390 staff redundant.

The redundancies at White Stuff, which has stores in Cheltenham, Gloucester Quays and Cirencester, are thought to include 100 head office staff and 290 shop workers, as reported by Retail Gazette.

The job cuts were part of a wider restructuring scheme for the retailer, which has now been completed.

White Stuff now has around 1,100 workers across 120 UK stores. It said the job losses would help ensure all of its stores remain open following the coronavirus crisis.
