A financial services firm from Gloucestershire has left a national awards in London with an accolade for its support of students.

Cheltenham-based Endsleigh Insurance Services took the honours at the Insurance Choice Awards 2018 ahead of stiff competition from across the United Kingdom.

The firm was shortlisted for two highly coveted awards; Best Student Insurance Provider and Customer Service Champion - and walked away with the former.

Julia Alpan, head of marketing at Endsleigh, said: "We may have been a key player in the sector for more than 50 years, but award wins like these still give us a fantastic sense of achievement, and provide us with a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the hard work of our dedicated team.

The Insurance Choice Awards launched in 2016 with the aim of increasing trust and transparency within the financial services sector while helping consumers find the best products and firms available.

Best Student Insurance Provider 2018 received votes from more than 19,000 consumers.

Endsleigh also uses its expertise to provide home, motor, travel and gadget insurance.
