Museum in the Park’s Walled Garden is Good to Go

Stroud's Museum in the Park Walled Garden is reopening to the general public tomorrow - and it's officially Good to Go.

The Visit England Good to Go mark shows that the museum conforms to the latest government and industry Covid-19 guidelines, with a recognised process in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.

As a result, daily admissions will be strictly limited to pre-booked timed appointments. Visitors need to book online in advance, specifying the date and time they intend to visit.

The indoor areas of the museum remain closed for the time being. Staff are working hard to ensure these are also covid-secure.

Cllr Mattie Ross, chair of Stroud District Council's Community Services & Licensing Committee said: "We are looking forward to safely welcoming back visitors to the Walled Garden as we phase the Museum in the Park's re-opening.

"We trust people will very much enjoy the opportunity to visit such a relaxing and special place."
