Supermarket giant, Morrisons, is putting around 1,000 supplier jobs at risk.
The retailer plans to get rid of at least 83 property maintenance suppliers, meaning 1,000 jobs could go, as reported by Retail Gazette.
Morrisons is looking to move to a single provider for property repairs, as it gets rid of its current suppliers, many based in its home city of Bradford.
The supermarket is also likely to lay off up to 50 staff dealing with property maintenance at its head office and around the UK.
Some of the suppliers have worked for Morrisons for decades and were given their contracts by the chain's co-founder, Ken Morrison.
They have been told that their contracts will come to end in July. Taking subcontractors into account, the change will affect more than 200 providers, as well as at least 100 head office staff.
Some Morrisons staff will transfer to the new provider, City Facilities Management, which is based in Glasgow and has offices around the UK.
Some existing suppliers may also become subcontractors for the company.
While Morrisons said it expected a total of 120 job losses, suppliers believe many more jobs will go.
