More parking permits for home workers

More parking permits are being made available to people living in Tewkesbury and Winchcombe town centres required to work from home or have been furloughed.

Tewkesbury Borough Council has increased the number of permits available at a cost of £20.83 for one month's parking.

Councillor Robert Vines, lead member for finance and asset management, said: "We are always looking at ways to make life easier for residents during these difficult times.

"Extending our parking permit scheme over the lockdown period will hopefully help to ease some of the pressure for people who are spending more time at home than they would normally."

The extra permits will be available until Wednesday, December 2 from tewkesbury.gov.uk/parking-permits or 0345 520 7007.
