Fashion retailer Monsoon has launched a new boutique store concept in London.
The fashion retailer said the shop in Marylebone High Street was part of a refresh of the brand, after the business went into administration last year, before being rescued by founder Peter Simon, as reported by Retail Gazette.
Monsoon has stores in Cirencester and Cheltenham. The new concept store is set to be the first in a series of 30 boutiques planned for locations across the UK and Ireland. It's not yet known whether any of the stores will be coming to Gloucestershire.
The architecture and colour palette of the new design store takes inspiration from Monsoon's heritage designs and long relationship with India.
The store offers customers a carefully chosen collection of Monsoon's womenswear, childrenswear and homeware products. It also stock's the company's new sustainable Artisan Studio collection and a small guest range from womenswear brand, East.
Monsoon said it remains committed to retail on the high street and is excited to see shops across the country reopen and to welcome customers to the new boutique.
The new store will support Monsoon's charitable work through The Monsoon Accessorize Trust. The company will donate 10 per cent of the first month's profits to the trust, which supports people from disadvantaged communities across Asia.
