Men charged after discovery of cannabis factory in Gloucester

Two men have been charged with producing cannabis following the discovery of over half a million pounds' worth of the class B drug at an address in Gloucester.

Neim Bakia, 23, and of no fixed abode, and Adeljan Oshafi, 31, and also of no fixed abode, have been remanded in custody and will appear at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on Monday (22 October).

The charges follow an investigation by Gloucestershire Constabulary's Force Crime Operations team after a warrant was executed at a property at the corner of Northgate Street and Hare Lane in the city on Friday evening (October 19).
