Management buyout of well-known Gloucestershire business

A Gloucester-based glazing specialist has been purchased by its current management team.

Bristol solicitors, Cook Corporate acted on the sale of Roman Glass Limited.

As well as a branch in Gloucester, the firm also has 26 offices across South Wales, South West and the Midlands employing more than 130 staff.

Roman Glass is a well-known name in the glazing, offering a wide range of glass services both to the general public and commercial businesses. In Gloucester, they specialise in traditional, bespoke and emergency glazing.

Charles Cook, managing partner at Cook Corporate said: "We were delighted to act on this transaction. Roman Glass is a high-profile name in the region and I am sure that the management buyout will enable continuity and a bright future for the company."

Mr Cook was assisted on the transaction by Ed Schofield and Richard Anthony. Saffery Champness advised on tax aspects and Beers LLP acted for the management buyout team.
