Man wanted for murder found in Cotswolds

A 31 year old Latvian man who is wanted for murder has been arrested in the Cotswolds.

Cotswolds Police have tweeted that the man was found 'hiding in Cirencester' last Friday (September 18).

The tweet said "Ciren NPT (Neighbourhood Police Team) arrested a man hiding in Cirencester wanted on a European Arrest Warrant for Murder."

A Gloucestershire Police spokesman added a short time ago "A 31-year-old man from Latvia was arrested at an address in Cirencester yesterday evening. The case is ongoing and we are unable to provide any further details."

It is believed the man was due to face an extradition hearing yesterday at Westminster Magistrates Court.
