Man victim of serious assault
5th September 2017
Gloucestershire Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault on a man in the Tuffley area of Gloucester.
The incident happened on Saturday 26 August at around 4.30/4.45pm - police were called just before 5pm.
A black vehicle was driving down Evenlode Road, Tuffley and was cornered in the cul-de-sac area when a man got out of a blue panel transit style van and assaulted the driver of the black car who suffered a fractured eye socket.
A second male then appeared and assaulted a woman passenger in the black car before also assaulting the driver of the black car.
It's believed that the second offender got out of a grey parked car. In the back of the grey car was a woman aged around 25-30 with a ponytail worn to one side. This woman shouted abuse at the victims.
Two males from Gloucester were subsequently arrested, one on suspicion of GBH and one on suspicion of common assault. Both were released under investigation.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, has details of the cars involved or has any information that can further assist police with their enquiries.
Please call 101 quoting incident number 360 of 26 August 2017 and ask for Mike Bowman-Wright.
