Man in hospital following a collision in Churchdown

A man is in Southmead Hospital with serious injuries following a collision in Churchdown on Monday night, November 21.

Police were called shortly before 5.30pm with a report of a collision between a silver Citroen C4 and a pedestrian.

Emergency services attended and the pedestrian, a man in his 50s from Churchdown was taken to Southmead Hospital with serious injuries.

Station Road in Churchdown was closed for a number of hours and has since been reopened.

Officers investigating the collision are keen to hear from anyone who may have relevant dashcam footage or who witnessed the incident and have not yet spoken to police.

Police would also like to speak to anyone who witnessed the pedestrian in that area around the time.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Gloucestershire Constabulary through the website, quoting incident 339 of November 21.
