Man charged in connection with stabbing in Gloucester

A man has been charged in connection with an incident in Barton Street, Gloucester last week.

Robert Fearn, aged 41 and of Millbrook Street, Gloucester has been charged with wounding with intent and possession of a knife in a public place.

The charges relate to an incident in Barton Street on the morning of Thursday 12 August where one man sustained stab wounds.

Fearn has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court today, Saturday 14 August.

A man aged in his 30s sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.

A woman aged in her 30s and from Gloucester who had previously been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender was later released under investigation.
