Make a difference with Hawkwood Climate Action Lab
By Sarah Wood | 5th February 2020
Want to take action on climate change in your business? Hawkwood Centre for Future Thinking in Stroud is running an innovative Climate Action Lab next month.
The course takes place from 4th to 6th March and features renowned author Mike Berners-Lee and other leaders in the field. The practical, intensive course focuses on how, as businesses and individuals, people can take responsibility and tackle the important issue of climate change in their daily lives.
Working with leading environmental organisations such as Ethical Consumer, The Soil Association, Business Declares, Good Energy, Stop Ecocide and Triodos Bank, the course aims to create a 10 point climate change plan for delegates to use at work or home. Speakers have in-depth knowledge of energy, food systems, finance, procurement and plastics, to support businesspeople in creating their plans.
The course is one of a kind and has been put together by the Hawkwood programming team. Hawkwood is set in a stunning 42 acre estate just outside Stroud and is renowned for its excellent organic cuisine.
Residential and non-residential options are open, with prices starting from £55.
