Major refurbishment and expansion for Gloucester business

The Longlevens Convenience Store and Post Office in Innsworth Lane, Longlevens started trading again on Saturday (17th February), following its refurbishment.

The business has been owned and operated by the Sandhu family for the last eight years. Sunny Sandhu said, "We've loved every minute of serving the Longlevens community and now we will be able to meet even more of their needs. The store now has a new, fresh atmosphere with more space and even greater choice."

The store was officially re-opened by local councillors Paul James and Kathy Williams (pictured right), who both live nearby and are regular customers. Cllr James said, "It's great that our local store has been given a makeover. Local shops are an important hub for the community and it's good to see this one thriving."
