Major housing development to support 420-plus jobs

As one of the UK's biggest house builders gears up to transform land beside one of the county's biggest business parks it has revealed just how many jobs the site will support.

On top of that the developer, David Wilson Homes, has also announced the name of the man who will lead the project to build the 142 homes at what it is calling Rosewood Grange.

Hadyn Tanner is the man who will oversee the multi-million-pound development of two, three and four-bedroom homes on the Gloucestershire site.

"Rosewood Grange will support 426 jobs, work has started and the show homes will launch in autumn 2018," said a spokeswoman for the company, part of the Barratt Developments since 2007.

The Hunts Grove site is adjacent to Waterwells Business Park south of Gloucester close to the M5

Mr Tanner will be responsible for overseeing construction at the site in Hunts Grove, liaising with construction workers, subcontractors and suppliers.

Gareth Neale, construction director at David Wilson Homes, said: "We are delighted to have Hadyn overseeing our new development and know he will do an excellent job."
