A stunning visitor attraction has been completed in the grounds of Gloucester Cathedral.

After 16 months the new Cathedral Green project shows off the city's finest historical building in a completely new and magnificent light.

The £6 million Project Pilgrim is enhancing the cathedral as part of an ambitious ten-year scheme.

The completion of the landscaping in the cathedral grounds has turned a dowdy car park into an area to sit and appreciate this magnificent place of worship.

The aim was to provide the cathedral with a fitting setting that not only enhances the building but provides a green space within the city to host a range of exciting new events and activities.
