Location revealed for new Cheltenham fashion retailer

One of the Gloucestershire's most popular shopping streets is about to get a new addition.

After announcing its planned arrival in Cheltenham earlier this year, Anthropologie has now revealed where it will be situated.

A planning application submitted to Cheltenham Borough Council shows that it will be moving into the former Laura Ashley store, at 92 Promenade.

The application outlines a series of small alternations and minor refurbishment works to the interior and exterior of the two-storey building, as well as signage additions to the shop frontage.

Anthropologie stocks a wide range of clothing, jewellery, intimates, home furniture and décor, beauty and gifts aimed at women aged 35-45. The chain has 200 stores worldwide and the closest store to Gloucestershire is currently in Bath.

The application does not give a planned opening date for the fashion retailer, but it is expected to be by the end of 2019.
