Local MPs support Gloucestershire net zero event for women

The Rt Hon Alex Chalk KC, MP for Cheltenham, and Laurence Robertson MP for Tewkesbury joined the team from She's Electric at Ellenborough Park at the weekend. She's Electric is a new event and content series touring the UK, to engage and empower women to make more sustainable lifestyle choices, including making the switch to driving electric.

She's Electric is a new informative enterprise, founded primarily by women for women seeking to reach net zero.

BAFTA award winner Katy Hill and automotive journalist Erin Baker hosted the event. The seminar included discussions on all aspects of electric car driving, hearing from local inspirational female speakers, and indulging in a spot of sustainable shopping before test-driving the latest luxury electric cars from Genesis Motors.

Rebecca Day co-founder and CEO of She's Electric said: "We were thrilled to meet so many incredible women at our event in Cheltenham. It was fantastic to see such high levels of engagement and witness the power of the female consumer. She's Electric is about enjoying a bit of 'me time', making connections and ultimately leaving feeling empowered to make the right choices for ourselves, our families, and the planet. As a country we are such incredible innovators - our aim is for us to become incredible adopters too - and for us to adopt the technologies we need to get to net zero we need everyone on board."

The next She's Electric events will be held this weekend in Hampshire.
