Local man suffers serious injuries in Sunday evening collision in Gloucestershire village

A man is in a stable condition following emergency surgery at Southmead Hospital after being involved in a traffic collision in Apperley last night.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident that happened at around 6.30pm on the B4213 near to the junction with School Lane.
The single vehicle collision involved a silver Ford Ranger truck.
The driver, a 29-year-old local man suffered serious injuries and was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol.
Following surgery, his condition was said to be stable.
The road was closed for several hours and diversions were in place as collision investigators worked at the scene.
In a statement, Gloucestershire Police said: "Officers would like to hear from anybody who may have travelled along the B4213 in the Apperley area around the time of the incident and either witnessed it or saw the vehicle before the collision occurred.
"They would be particulary interested in any dash cam footage which might assist the investigation.
"Anyone with information can contact Gloucestershire Constabulary on 101 quoting incident 351 of August 11, 2019.
