Live on the site of town's old Police Station for £1million

The development at 59 Lansdown in Cheltenham

A new-build five-bedroom house on the site of Cheltenham's former central police station will cost upwards of £1million.

Housebuilder CALA Homes has appointed Savills as selling agent for the development at 59 Lansdown, which will launch in March.

The development features five-bedroom villas, one or two-bedroom luxury apartments and four penthouses.

The development will include 42 luxury one and two-bedroom apartments, including four penthouses, with prices starting at £250,000.

There are also 25 three or five-bedroom contemporary villas set over three floors, with the guide price for a five-bed set to be £1million plus.

Announcing the news that the properties will be taken to market, CALA homes said the villas have been designed with "Regency grandeur" and feature high ceilings and doors.

Each villa has a rear garden and private parking, while some include a walk-on terrace with views across Crickley Hill.

Neil Simpson, Sales & Marketing Director for CALA Homes (Midlands), said: "59 Lansdown marks an exciting milestone for CALA Homes.

"We make our return to Cheltenham with an exceptional collection of luxury properties on the edge of Montpellier; arguably one of the most sought-after addresses in Cheltenham.

"We're pleased to be working with Savills on this flagship collection of stunning villas and apartments.

"Savills has a wealth of experience and will be integral in bringing these stunning homes to the market. 59 Lansdown launches in March.

"We're inviting prospective purchasers to register now to be amongst the first to receive the detail of this exciting and prestigious development and an invitation to our VIP launch."

Sarah McKinnon, Head of Residential Development Sales for Savills Cheltenham, added: "59 Lansdown is the most prestigious new address in Cheltenham.

"We are delighted to partner with CALA Homes to market this very special development, which coincides with the launch of a dedicated new homes division for Savills Cheltenham.

"Rarely are exceptional new homes such as 59 Lansdown available in such a superb location. With both houses and apartments on offer.

"We expect to attract buyers locally and from further afield."
