Major client win for Gloucestershire business

Lister Unified Communications has won a three-year contract to provide telephony and IT support for Red Recruitment.

Stonehouse-based Lister Unified Communications will supply a complete communications package for Red Recruitment's offices in Bristol, Cardiff and Gloucester.

Award-winning Red Recruitment was identified as one of the London Stock Exchange Group's 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain in 2017.

Lister Unified Communications acquired IT management firm, SITM, 16 months ago after working together for many years and it was this combine expertise and knowledge that enabled the rapidly expanding company to win the Red Recruitment contract.

Rob Lister, director of Lister Unified Communications, said: "We are delighted that Red Recruitment have chosen to work with us. Our values of always putting the customer first are in line with theirs.

"Previously Red Recruitment had had several suppliers but we were able to provide all their communications services under one roof. Their CRM (Customer Relationship Management) package is of paramount importance to the company and their connectivity is also critical.

"We at Lister Communications were able to offer a unified communications package so everything ties together and if they need help or support they only have to call one number rather than several different suppliers.

"The two sides of the business worked closely together to win this contract."

Simon Penn, director of Red Recruitment said: "I was impressed with Lister's personal service and IT support. They share our values of putting the customer at the heart of everything we do."

Since Lister Unified Communications acquired SITM, the number of staff has increased to 40 with more being recruited and group turnover has grown to just over £6 million.

Rob Lister said: "At Lister Unified Communications we believe you gain and keep customers by being honest with them and providing them with what they need. While we embrace new technology we retain the traditional values of putting the customer first.

"I think that is what makes us different. We communicate clearly, have the most experienced knowledge base and only provide the highest quality products."

Lister Unified Communications also recently won a contract to provide IT support for INASP, the international development charity working with a global network of partners in Africa, Latin America and Asia.
