Lister appoints first finance director

Stonehouse-based Lister Unified Communications has appointed its first finance director, Becky Horseman.

Becky Horseman, who has been with the company for four and a half years, leading the accounts team, said: "I'm really excited to take up this new role. Whilst I will be carrying on managing the accounts, I will now be working with the senior leadership team on the strategic direction of the company and of course to make sure we are being as cost-efficient as possible!''

''My role will also extend to cover human resources; I believe it's going to be a role that will evolve as time goes by as the business grows. It's fantastic to be on this journey with the company".

Lister managing director Rob Lister said: "This is a well-earned promotion for Becky to become our first finance director and we've extended it, so she is also finance director of Lister IT Services as well as Lister Unified Communications.

"It's a big job and as we continue to grow, we need to look at all parts of the business in a more analytical way and it's great to promote from within and to have somebody already onboard, who understands the company and our ethos - delivering exceptional customer service and products."

Lister, which was founded in 2001, by brothers Rob and Tom Lister currently employs around 35 staff, with a turnover of approx. £7million and is a managed service provider for telecoms & IT.

The company has seen a huge rise in business for its IT services in the past year with revenues growing by 15% and a 27% increase in managed support contracts.

Lister aims to be the 'go-to provider' for businesses in the region for all their communications needs, including Cloud telephony, mobiles, Internet connectivity, IT services, SIP, IoT and multi-net SIMS.

Rob added: "This is an exciting time for the company and it's great to have Becky in the management team helping us take the company to the next stage."
