It has been announced that a Cheltenham gift shop had been selected as a finalist for an award.

Showcasing art and crafts made entirely by local Gloucestershire artisans, Cheltenham Collective in the Regent Arcade shopping centre had been named as one of just five finalists in the gift shop category in the Gloucestershire Muddy Stilettos 2017 awards.

Cheltenham Collective is currently leading the online vote at https://glos.muddystilettos.co.uk/vote/   which closes at midday on June 16.

Muddy Stilettos is an award-winning lifestyle blog dedicated to providing an urban guide to the countryside for those who live outside London.

Director of Cheltenham Creative Becky Jones said: "We are overwhelmed at making it onto the Muddy Stilettos shortlist.

"Our store is a gift shop with a difference.

"The shop is stocked with fabulous, quality gifts and artwork from our talented artists who are all local to Gloucestershire.

Hundreds of local businesses throughout Gloucestershire entered the awards which invite members of the public to vote for their favourite local business across 27 categories covering food and drink, hospitality, shopping and leisure.
