Lidl launches new app

Discount supermarket chain Lidl has launched Lidl Plus, a new digital rewards app, offering shoppers rewards and discounts every time they shop.

The app is now available to download on iOS and Android in England, Scotland and Wales, after being piloted in stores in Ireland earlier in the summer, as reported by Charged Retail.

Lidl, which has stores across the county, will give Lidl Plus users a digital scratch card every time they shop, offering prizes of between 25p and £20. Users will also receive weekly coupons offering discounts of up to 25 per cent on selected products.

The company has also partnered with companies like Sky to offer discounts on services like TV, broadband and cinema tickets.

Lidl Plus will allow customers to browse Lidl's weekly deals and 'Middle of Lidl' items and store all their digital receipts.
