Levi’s acquire athleisure company Beyond Yoga

Clothing giant Levi's, which has a store in Gloucester Quays and sells in Cheltenham's Cavendish House is delving into athleisure as it has bought women's activewear company Beyond yoga. The sale price has not been disclosed.

Beyond Yoga currently sell jumpsuits, dresses and skirts as well usual activewear such as leggings and joggers for women.

Beyond Yoga will operate as a standalone division for Levi's and should contribute more than £72 million to the net revenue of the denimwear giant in 2022.

"We are honored and excited to become a part of the Levi Strauss & Co. family," Michelle Wahler, CEO of Beyond Yoga told the Retail Gazette. She will report to Levi's president Chip Bergh.

"Joining its portfolio will enable us to accelerate our growth by leveraging the experience and resources of its team and its global infrastructure."
