Lettings agents are all heart with their charity fundraising

The lettings team at estate agents Perry Bishop have shown they are all heart by choosing to raise funds for a local charity.

Every year, the company's different branches and departments each select a good cause to support. This year the lettings division has chosen to back Heart Heroes.

Heart Heroes supports children with congenital heart conditions and their families. Based in Gloucester, it has regional hubs across the South and South West, and helps hundreds of families.

Tammy Powell, lettings manager at Perry Bishop based in their Stroud Valleys branch, said that when she came across the work of this brilliant local charity via a personal friend she and the team leapt at the chance to support them.

She said: "We wanted to support a local charity, one that helped local children and their families going through challenging times."

To help raise funds, Ms Powell is planning to take part in a skydive, and the team will attend the Heart Heroes annual ball in September.

Perry Bishop also partners with utilities provider Just Move In and have asked for the commission received when a new tenant uses their services to be donated to Heart Heroes. Perry Bishop is looking to roll out Just Move In's services across their sales division, which will result in more money for the charity.

Kelly Cornish, founder of Heart Heroes, said: "We so grateful that the lettings division at Perry Bishop have chosen to support us. We will use the funds they raise to help finance the support we offer families, with our regular coffee mornings and events we put on."

Perry Bishop has branches in Stroud, Nailsworth, Tetbury, Cheltenham, Cirencester and Faringdon. The lettings services is also extended to people on the move in Chippenham, Swindon and Bishop's Cleeve via a network of Associated Partners.
