Ledbury man alleged possession of cannabis at Newent business park

A Ledbury man is to appear at Gloucester Crown Court for allegedly possessing 4.9 kilograms of cannabis at a business park in Redmarley in 2019.

At Cheltenham Magistrates Court, George Bradley of Dymock Road, Ledbury, did not enter any formal plea to the charge of possessing a quantity of the class B drug with the intent to supply to others at the Compton Business Park on May 30, 2019.

District Judge Nicholas Wattam declined jurisdiction in the case and said that because of the quantity of the drugs involved it would have to be dealt with at Gloucester Crown Court.

Mr Bradley was released on unconditional bail to appear at the court on May 27.
