Large scale events are back on at the NEC with UK Health and Safety event

The Health and Safety event is back on at the NEC in Birmingham, in a promising move for the events industry. The events industry was hit hard by the covid pandemic as large scale gatherings were not allowed until "freedom day" on July 19.

The event usually attracts in excess of 16,000 workplace professionals from the industrial, commercial and public sector to attend a range of seminars, practical workshops and an exhibition hall. The day teaches workplace professionals how to run a safe and efficient workplace.

Companies can attend to learn how to:

-build their skills, knowledge and expertise and gain CPD points through an expert led content programme

-stay up to date on regulatory changes and industry best practices essential to their role as a health and safety professional

-explore the latest products and solutions to improve health and safety standards

-access and network with workplace professionals from various industries and sectors

Companies can earn CPD points and gain access to educational content of high standard, including information on legal and regulation updates.

2021 sees a new Machinery Safety zone which will see the latest technologies and solutions showcased around this important aspect of many workplaces.

The event is partnering with Highways England for their Driving for Better Business campaign, creating a new Driver Safety Zone, sharing vital resources about work-related road risk.

The event is taking place on September 9.
