Large number of mobile phones stolen in overnight raid in Gloucester city centre

A large number of mobile phones were stolen in an overnight raid on a Gloucester city centre shop.

Police were alerted to the break in at Mobile Care in Northgate Street shortly before 5am this morning.

It is believed that offenders forced their way into the shop at around 2.30am, causing considerable damage to the door of the shop.

In a statement, Gloucestershire Constabulary said: "Anyone with information about the incident, or who is aware of mobile phones being offered for sale in suspicious circumstances, is asked to call Gloucestershire Constabulary on 101 quoting incident 28 of September 19."
