‘Labels tell your story’, food and drink producers to be told
By Sarah Wood | 18th February 2019
Participants in a workshop next month, 'Meet the Future: Smart Labelling for Your Business', will hear how the role of labels on our food and drink cannot be over-estimated.
The event will be held at Tewkesbury Growth Hub on Wednesday 13th March.
Claire Thayers, of peer to peer funder FOLK2FOLK, said: "Consumers want to know what's in what they are eating and drinking - and where it comes from. The recent Pret a Manger tragedy has focused all our minds.
"Consumers want to be clear what they are buying. In short, they want honesty - and they also want to know your story."
Aimed at decision-makers in small and medium-sized food and drink producers, the workshop will feature presentations by leading speakers Claire Thayers (FOLK2FOLK), Liz Tucker (Select Food Ltd), Peter Adams (Springboard Graphics) and Adam Carey (Axicon Labels, a world leader in barcodes).
Organised by the Three Counties Food & Drink Company, the event is the first ever workshop of its kind to be held in the region.
