Man charged with Gloucester murder
By Matt Hall | 26th November 2018
A man has been charged in connection with a murder in Gloucester last week.
Krzystof Solosciuk, 38 and from Bristol, was charged this morning (Monday, November 26) with murder and will appear at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court this afternoon.
The charge relates to the death of Bristol man Lukasz Grabowski, who died shortly after being found with serious head injuries in Great Western Road in Gloucester last Wednesday (November 21).
Police are still seeking further help from the public as they continue to investigate the suspected murder of a man found near Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
Mr Grabowski, a 32-year-old Bristol man, originally from Poland, was found with serious head injuries in Great Western Road, Gloucester at around 5.10pm on Wednesday (21 November). He died a short time later.
Officers now want to hear from a key witness who was in Hyde Lane at around 4.30pm on the evening of the incident.
Police have also established that one of the cars involved was a black Audi A7 and want people in Gloucester to come forward if they saw it in the area after Lukasz was found.
Detectives believe the Audi A7, a silver Mercedes Estate and a white Vauxhall Vivaro van are all linked to the case and are now likely to be in the Bristol area.
Detective Chief Inspector Ruth Mather said: "Primarily I want to appeal to the witness we believe was in Hyde Lane in Gloucester to come forward. You may have crucial information and it's vital we speak to you.
"Also, we've released an image of the Audi A7 involved in this incident - did you see it in Gloucester on the evening of the incident, particularly in the Hyde Lane, Prince Street and Nettleton Road area between 5.15pm and 5.30pm or have you seen any of the vehicles involved since? We think they are now likely to be in the Bristol area, possibly abandoned somewhere, and would urge people there to be on the lookout."
Anyone with information should call 101 and quote incident 291 of 21 November.
Information can also be submitted directly through the UK Police Major Incident Public Reporting Site by visiting: https://mipp.police.uk/ or you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Police are holding a 38-year-old Bristol man arrested on suspicion of murder in custody while enquiries continue.
