Key signing at Cheltenham Town FC commits for another season

Cheltenham Town FC has announced one of its stalwart signings has committed for an eighth straight season at the club.

Hazlewoods, the award-winning chartered accountants and committed sponsor of the club over the last seven seasons, has extended its stand sponsorship deal.

David Main, a partner with the firm, was at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium to sign a new agreement that will see Hazlewoods continue to sponsor the stand that houses away supporters and our big screen.

John Finnigan, commercial manager for the football club, said: "We are absolutely delighted to continue our fantastic relationship with Hazlewoods into an eighth season.

"The Hazlewoods Stand has become an iconic part of the stadium, for both home and away fans, and so it is great news that this will continue as we head into the new campaign.

"We look forward to continuing to grow our partnership with Hazlewoods as they also head towards a major milestone in 2019 as they celebrate 100 years of practice."

Mr Main from Hazlewoods said: "We continue to value our relationship with Cheltenham Town. The club is a great asset to the town and it is important that local businesses continue to support this valuable part of our community.

"It is fantastic that in our 100th year as a Cheltenham based business (with over 300 employees in our Cheltenham and Staverton offices), we continue to be associated with a club with a similar long history."
