To meet the needs of the expanding workload they have appointed Kevin Truss as a senior architectural technician, while former architectural assistant Johnny Carter has now achieved his RIBA Chartered Architect status.
John Everitt, Director at coombes:everitt, said, "Kevin comes to us with more than 17 years of architectural experience and specialises in commercial, education and healthcare projects.
"We have an increasing number of clients in each of these sectors, and Kevin's appointment has further strengthened our technical team with more capacity, ability and expertise.
With a decade or more involvement in fully collaborative Building Information Modelling projects, Truss has worked with federated architectural, structural and MEP models.
His experience ranges from offices, community centres, industrial warehouses and GP surgeries. This has involved supporting BIM for clients, contractors, sub-contractors and even manufacturers.
Toby Coombes "In addition to welcoming Kevin into the company, we also celebrated earlier this year when Johnny became a chartered architect with the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) after seven years of hard study.
"And Johnny's success doesn't stop there, as he has also become a Certified Passive House Designer, furthering adding to the sustainability knowledge within the practice." Added Toby Coombes
