Jurys Inn set for rebrand

Jurys Inn, which owns one of the county's landmark hotels, is to relaunch under the Leonardo brand this autumn.
The Jurys Inn name is to be retired after almost 30 years, with all 35 hotels set to make the transition before the end of the year, as reported by The Caterer.
Jurys Inn runs the hotel on the outskirts of Cheltenham, still known affectionately by locals as the 'Golden Valley hotel', and remembered by those with very long memories as the setting for Crossroads on ITV.
Jurys Inn was merged with Leonardo Hotels in 2017. The Leonardo brand currently has 16 properties in the UK and Ireland, with plans to increase its number of bedrooms by 10 per cent every year. The company said it was better for all its hotel to be under the same name as the group expands.
Leonardo Hotels is one of the fastest growing hotel chains in Europe. Once the Jurys Inn rebrand is complete, it will have 145 hotels in 83 cities across 13 countries.
The change will allow Jurys Inn customers to access benefits such as Leonardo's international loyalty scheme and give staff the ability to work in hotels within the group in other countries.
