John Lewis: Lego is Valentine’s Day hit

Sales of Lego aimed at adults have risen by 33% at John Lewis.

The retailer, which has a store in Cheltenham, said searches for complex Lego sets aimed at those aged 18 and over, are up 51% on last year, as reported by Retail Gazette.

Lego with a floral design is proving particularly popular ahead of Valentine's Day. Three of the top five most popular Lego products on the department store chain's website at the moment are floral constructions.

Customers' Valentine's Day favourites are the Lego Orchid, closely followed by the Lego Bonsai Tree and Flower Bouquet.

John Lewis said that Lego isn't just for kids and the more complex sets can help people unwind after a stressful day.
