Jobs created as new store announced for Gloucester Quays

One of the world's most popular sports brands is coming to retail hotspot Gloucester Quays.

German brand Adidas, also the sponsor of some of the nation's sports teams and the world's biggest sporting events, has all but confirmed it is arriving at the waterside retail hotspot.

No official announcement of statement has been released by the firm, but 11 job adverts have gone up on the company's website for roles from floor manager, assistant manager, visual merchandiser and sales consultant.

Adverts have also appeared on Linkedin for the roles.

All of which brings to an end weeks of speculation which began when units became empty following the exit stage left of Cotton Traders and Klass.

Gloucester Rugby's shop also added to the interest when it moved a few doors down.

All of which further adds to a strong hand at the Quays' when it comes to sport. It can now boast a Nike Factory Store and an Asics outlet.
