An independent restaurant based at Gloucester Docks is to open a branch in Cheltenham.

Work is underway to fit out the former PizzaExpress building on Imperial Square, ahead of the opening of Settebello in the summer.

Settebello is an Italian trattoria and cocktail bar, which it says offers 'authentic Italian ingredients' and 'a touch of glamour'. It opened in Gloucester in 2019.

PizzaExpress closed in Imperial Square in November 2022, with a new restaurant opening in The Brewery Quarter a few days later.

Cheltenham-based property consultants, KBW, let the 3,335 sq ft Grade II listed Belgrave House to Settebello.
