Investigation into suspicious death in Gloucester

Gloucestershire Police are  investigating a suspicious death in Gloucester yesterday.

Officers were called to an address in Hopewell Street in Gloucester at 8.25am on Thursday 8 February.

A woman in her 20s had been found dead at the property and a police investigation began.

We are treating the death of the woman as suspicious and a 26-year-old man from London has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

He remains in custody at this time while enquiries continue.
