Iceland teams up with Amazon

Frozen food specialist, Iceland, has partnered with Amazon to sell its products online.

Iceland, which has stores in Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud and Dursley, is following in the footsteps of Morrisons and Co-op as a third-party supermarket on the online retail giant's website, as reported by Retail Gazette.

The retailer's products will initially only be available in parts of Greater Manchester, before being launched in other areas in the coming months.

Products on offer will include own brand fresh and frozen ranges and branded items from Greggs and Heinz.

Iceland food will be sourced from a local store before being delivered to customers by Amazon delivery drivers.

The retailer said the new partnership is part of its commitment to helping customers "shop the way they want".
