HR consultancy makes acquisition

HR Champions Ltd, a leading provider of HR services and leadership and management training and development in the region, has today announced the transfer of its HR support division to the consultancy HR People Support.

The acquisition will see HR People Support, based at Festival House, Jessop Avenue, Cheltenham, taking over the delivery of HR services for HR Champions' existing clients, allowing HR Champions to focus on the continued growth and development of its core training offerings.

The move comes after more than 20 years of HR Champions, based at Brunswick Road, Gloucester, supporting businesses across the region with a range of HR and training services.

Following a strategic review, the company has chosen to concentrate its future efforts on further developing its training provision, while ensuring its HR clients continue to receive the highest quality support by transitioning them to HR People Support, which has an eight-strong team.

Sarah Cook, managing director of HR People Support, said: "We are delighted to welcome HR Champions' clients to HR People Support. This acquisition aligns with our ongoing strategy to offer comprehensive, high-quality HR solutions to businesses across the region.

"With our team of experienced CIPD-qualified consultants, we are confident that clients will continue to receive the personalised and professional HR support they have come to expect, while also benefiting from our fresh insights and innovative approach."

HR People Support, led by Sarah Cook and co-owner Gemma Irvine, is a well-established consultancy known for its expertise in navigating businesses through HR challenges, employment law changes, and people management strategies. The company has built a strong reputation for delivering tailored HR solutions that align with each business's unique goals.

Cathy O'Donoghue, managing director of HR Champions, said: "This decision enables us to continue to evolve our training and development services, which have seen ongoing demand as businesses look to upskill their workforces in an increasingly demanding business environment.

"We are confident that HR People Support is the perfect business to take over the HR division, ensuring our clients continue to receive the same high standards of service. Sarah and her team bring a wealth of expertise and a forward-thinking approach that will benefit all of our HR clients."
