Holidays aren't coming

It's been a favourite event on the festive calendar in Gloucester for the last few years, but it seems that this year the Coca Cola lorry will be steering clear of the city.
Every year the lorry from the iconic Christmas advert draws hundreds of people to King's Square to take photos and enjoy a free Coke or two. But this year the tour takes in mainly bigger cities like Newcastle, Liverpool and Birmingham, with the odd smaller town thrown in.
Here at Punchline we have no idea why the lorry isn't coming. Maybe there won't be room with the Christmas maze? Maybe Father Christmas was worried his lorry might actually get lost in the maze? We wouldn't like to speculate. But we do know a lot of people will miss it.
But maybe it's actually good news for Gloucester? The lorry has been slammed by Public Health England for encouraging childhood obesity by giving out free Cokes. The health watchdog says it is targeting the poorest areas of the country with its promotional tour and that there is a clear link between childhood obesity and poverty.
So while Gloucester will miss out on the fun of the Coca Cola lorry, we can at least be assured that our children aren't being forced into festive obesity.
