Historic tea and coffee house for sale

Renowned amongst locals as the place to go for afternoon tea, Hedley's tea and coffee house in Westgate Street, Gloucester is up for sale.

The café, based in one of the few surviving timber-framed buildings left in the city, currently has 20 indoor and 20 outdoor covers.

The 15th century, listed property was built on a major route into the city and is just a short walk from the cathedral.

Open Tuesday to Sunday, the thriving coffee shop attracts shoppers, office workers and tourists and serves freshly made breakfasts, lunches and sweet treats.

The business purchase offers great opportunities for future growth and expansion. It currently holds an alcohol license and has the potential to extend opening hours.

The business is for sale due to the owners looking to pursue other larger business commitments.

Oxford-based property consultants Central Business Agency have been appointed to sell the business.
