Officers are appealing for information after three high value bicycles were stolen during a burglary in Stonehouse earlier this week.

Unknown offenders forced entry to a property on Crescent Road before stealing an electric bike, electric motocross bike and mountain bike.

The stolen bikes, which have a combined value of nearly £8,000, are a purple coloured Specialized Status mountain bike, light lime green coloured Specialized Turbo Vado electric hybrid bike and a red and black Oset MX10 electric dirt bike.

The burglary took place at some point between 10pm on Monday evening (July 31) and 5am on Tuesday morning (August 1).

Investigating officers are asking local residents to please come forward if they've seen bikes, witnessed what happened or have information on the incident.

Additionally, they would like to hear from anyone who has CCTV or dashcam footage which they feel may be relevant.

Information can be provided by completing the online form and quoting incident 61 of August 1.
