Headline speaker announced for Growing Gloucestershire Conference

The first headline speaker for the Growing Gloucestershire Conference in June will be Will Kintish, published author and international speaker.

Will (pictured right) has delivered business networking talks and workshops to more than 80,000 people, helping them to develop their networking skills. He has agreed to deliver one of his signature talks on the morning of 20th June at this year's event.

Tickets for Will's events are usually more than five times the ticket cost for the Growing Gloucestershire Conference, so this is a great opportunity to hear him speak.

Will said: "I provide confidence and expertise in the field of business development to people who find this area of their careers uncomfortable. I educate and entertain; a powerful mix to help people become great business developers and build their self-confidence."

Conference chairman, Jonathan Nicholls, said: "We are very proud of the conference programme that is taking shape. The event will offer insight into the future of business in Gloucestershire, and we will be sharing more on this in the coming weeks."

Now in its 16th year, the event, organised by Gloucestershire Professionals and hosted by The Growth Hub, offers a fantastic chance for business people in the county to come together and network, while also listening to some inspiring talks.

Jonathan said: "The theme of the 2018 Conference is the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The concept of combining digital, biological and physical systems sounds quite futuristic, but it is coming. This event will discuss what it is, how it will affect businesses in the county, and most importantly, how to capitalise on the opportunities it will bring.

"This conference is about building awareness and equipping ourselves to thrive in a very different world. It will include a range of informative seminars and keynote speeches and provide opportunities for networking whilst learning."

The conference in 2018 is being organised by CIMA, CIPD, CMI and the FSB - part of Gloucestershire Professionals. Tickets are £30 for members of these organisations and £40 for others. Tickets can be purchased online at www.glosprofs.com , where you can also find the latest news and speaker announcements.
